Since I’m still caught up with the flu and in the process of a slow recovery, I might as well upload what’s finished so far. Hence, I’ve just uploaded a Release Candidate v1.01a for my digital portfolio website, this version is nearly complete so what you’re seeing is probably more or less like the final version when it officially goes live. In about two weeks, an external guest will be interviewing our class and this shall be my modus operand during my interrogation. Hopefully I will get employment for my field of specialization as long as it’s not digital video or motion graphics.
When you’re free, have a look , give feedback, criticism & comments. ^__^
CAUTION: Graphic & Processor hog, broadband connection recommended.

wow, looks cool.
the movements are not very smooth though, maybe cos graphics are heavy.
and uhm. i missed the navigation at the bottom at first.
is the ship going to have navigation or interaction?
it looks really fun.
good luck ben!
I have planned a little surprise, time permitting on board the mother-ship. As far as the smoothness is concerned the mm-lab 3 stations seem to be somewhat adequate but I admit it chokes on my Pentium IV Acer. As of this time, I am considering weather to remove 2 parallax layers to ease the transitions. Stay tuned.
Runs fine on my computer =D no lag here. I say keep the many layers for the parallax. When you wanna show off I always think its better to have good effects to show what you can do, even if it does lag slower systems. It seems like it’s set up to have lots of cool little hidden things you can interact with. It’d be stellar if you could make tons of things to mess around and play with. Just fun little animations and effects when you mouse over or click =)
